2026–2027 PTA Reflections Contest
What My Culture Means to Me
Unleash your creativity through the PTA Reflections program! Students are invited to create an original work inspired by this year’s national theme:
“What My Culture Means to Me”
Submission Deadline
Friday, October 23, 2026
Entries may be submitted:

To Mrs. Hauser in the art room

At the school’s front desk in the PTA Arts in Education collection box, available October 19–23
Arts Categories
Students may submit entries in one or more of the following categories:

Dance Choreography
-
Film Production
-
Literature
-
Music Composition
-
Photography
-
2D Visual Arts
-
Accessible Arts Division
Entry Requirements
-
Each entry must be the original work of one student.

The work must be created specifically for the 2026–2027 PTA Reflections program and inspired by the theme “What My Culture Means to Me.”
-
Each submission must include a completed and signed Student Entry Form.

Every entry must have a title and a 10–100-word artist statement explaining how the work relates to the theme.

Students must follow the specific requirements for their selected arts category.
-
Generative artificial intelligence and other generative elements may not be used to create an entry.
-
At least one person from the student’s primary household must be a current member of Ereckson PTA for the entry to be accepted.
